Turin is one of the beautiful cities of Italy which is situated near the Po River. This capital city of piedmont region is not only home for the Italian automotive industry but also the birth place of Italian cinema. Torino film festival which is the second largest international film festival in Italy is held in Turin. One of the noticeable buildings in Turin is The Mole Antonelliana which holds the national museum of cinema in Turin.

Palazzo Madama, royal palace of Turin, Turin cathedral, Egyptian museum of Turin, museum of oriental art and many other endearing places are present in Turin. Throughout the streets of Turin one can see distinct architectural buildings. Along with its rich culture and history Turin also has countless parks, gardens, restaurants, cafes, theatres, museums, cosmopolitan stores and many other places.

Gianduiotto is one of the distinct chocolate which is famous in this city of Italy. The chocolates of this city are as much famous as its culture which attracts many visitors to this city.

Along with the major attractive factors present in Turin, the Alps which are surrounding the city add much more beauty to the city in terms of nature. The view of the Alps surrounding Turin from the top of the museum is a mind blowing one. Turin, a must visit city in Italy.

Tourism – an innovative step

Graveyard- the place nobody dares to step in because of fear caused by evil related stories. But in India two states have taken a challenge and succeeded to convert a graveyard as a tourist spot. Now daily hundreds of people are visiting the cremation centre.

In south India, Tamilnadu has an advanced cremation centre in Madurai district. At Keeraithurai, with a sprawling area of 2.5 acres two electrical burners have been setup for cremations. Apart from that there is a beautiful garden with variety of flowers which attract people to the cemetery. Fountains with colorful illuminations also remind visitors as in a theme park.

The beautification of the cremation ground, a novel concept of state costs RS.2.5 crore to the ex-chequer. But in Uttar Pradesh, without the support of state government, a team converted the cremation ground in to a tourist place with donations. People coming to Gorakhpur, doesn’t miss to visit Mukthipath, the cremation ground having facilities to perform marriages, religious functions, meditations and meetings.

Huge statue of lord Shiva is present in the heart of Mukthipath, beautiful garden with blossoming flowers, walls inscribed with religious teachings and paintings were also the main attraction of Mukthipath.

The above two places in India have broken the myth that a cremation ground is a haunted and lonely place by attracting a large number of visitors and also enhance tourism.

Romania a country which is famous for its castles and wines offers a lot of adventures for its tourists in both cultural wise as well as in sight seeing. Tourism in Romania has developed in the past years due to the rise in visitors from European countries. Romania has its unique folklore that differs from the rest of the European countries is one of the reason which makes it as an alluring tourist destination.

Romania, a land known for its wine and tales has a lot to offer for its visitors. It has a fusion of modern and historical architectures. The culture and tradition of this country which dates back to the Roman Empire has a lot of influence on its tourism. Castles, seas and culture of Romania are the major elements which ignites tourism in this country. Bucharest, Sibiu and Brasov are the cities in Romania that can give you the taste of lively Romanian culture.

Hotels both in the cities as well as in the villages would be showcasing their Romanian tradition. There are lots of cruises available in the Danube delta which offers adventurous trips on the river. You may wonder why I have selected this particular title for this list. Because when you are young you will be energetic, when you are old you will be not be the same young guy whom you used to be. And you need full energy when you visit these cities. Because the amount of energy you spend will be equal to the amount of enjoyment gained by you. So here are the five cities which need to be visited before you retire.

5. Madrid: capital and largest city in Spain. This city is full of parks, museums, concert halls, theatres and ancient buildings where you can visit on day time. Apart from the modern buildings Madrid has preserved its ancient architectures such as royal palace of Madrid, royal theatre, prado museum which holds one of the finest art collections in the world. Bullfighting and football are the other sporting events which take place in Madrid throughout the year. This city never sleeps so you enjoy during night times by visiting clubs. Overall this city is one of the best tourist attractions in the world.

4. Berlin: one of the important places which we have studied during our history classes. Landmark of Berlin is its Brandenburg gate and Reichstag. This gate even can be seen in euro coins. Reichstag building holds the parliament meetings of Germany. This building also has a magnificent glass dome which is not restricted. Public can view this dome inside Reichstag. City of design is the title awarded by the UNESCO to this city. This city is the home to many film production companies and also to European film academy and German film industry. This city has an international reputation for its cultural institutions. Lots of museums, theatres and operas are also there for having a leisure time. Sporting activities takes place throughout the year. It is the centre of recreation.

3. London: capital of England. This is one of the richest cities in Europe. It is also now home for many foreigners. This is a multifunctional city there is room for every things. Most visit this city for sightseeing, some for education purposes, job, and many other. This city is the centre of attraction for whomever visiting Europe. Home of cricket, football are other attractive magnets in this city. If you ask me when is the right time visit this city, I would say visit it during 2012 Olympics. This game will be conducted in such a way that was not conducted before.

2. Paris: known for its world famous Eiffel tower. Sightseeing places such as place de la Bastille, opera garnier also adds beauty to this city. Lots of tourists are visiting this city every year. Night life in Paris can be enjoyed by visiting bars, cafes, concert halls and many more places. Overall this city is the centre of attraction France.

1. Rome: capital city of Italy. Has many numbers of ancient monuments to visit including the famous colosseum and st.peters square in Vatican City. There are lots of ancient monuments built during the Roman Empire. This city has a lot of beautiful buildings which will make you feel that you are in earth’s paradise.
