It was a hot sunny day I reached Agra from New Delhi after three and half hours travel by road. Even though after traveling for more than three hours with the temperature above 35 degrees Celsius I was not really exhausted instead I was excited about seeing one of the wonders of the world. It was a dream of my life time to see all the wonders of the world and I am happy to have started by beginning it with the symbol of love. When I reached, I thought to myself that I should not be wasting even a minute admiring the beauty so I started to walk faster. When I reached the garden I saw innumerable people waiting in a queue to enter the monument. Without hesitation I joined the line. On the line to the wonder I met a guy named Albert. We had a short conversation on our way and during our conversation he gave me more information about the monuments history in relation to the Agra fort. When I asked him about his reason of visit, he said that he was a student doing a research on historic places.
By the time we entered the tomb we both became friends. We entered and my friend pointed me the direction of the tomb. I started to go in his direction after some people cleared the place I was able to see the tomb. When I was close enough to touch, I saw a way to the underground. Both the tombs were identical, anybody who were there would say that it was unbelievable to build such a fascinating and magnificent building for a tomb. I saw the whole marble beauty was decorated inside with inscriptions and drawings throughout the walls. It was an amazing wonder built with marble. Most of the monuments have inscriptions and decorations like tajmahal but they lack in some essence which this monument has. This essence can only be felt and cannot be explained. This makes Tajmahal a symbol of both love and uniqueness.
After spending most of my time in viewing the beauty from the taj garden I said good bye to my friend and started off to my next destination. If I hadn’t made any plans for my tour I would have stayed in Agra for a few more days and enjoyed viewing this beautiful monument with my friend but I had to go. Thinking that I would be back to see them again I left Agra and started for my next destination Jaipur.
